I am running BKR7E gapped to .032". What should I run instead Slowbalt2000?

I have tried both Lucas and NOS octane booster that is supposed to raise the octane 30 points or 3 octane. Is the Torco stuff more effective?

Compare them to your stock plugs. They are 1/4" too short. Dont be silly, use the right plugs.

Youre not supposed to gap them but i have. Theyre just more expensive. I use the lfr7a pregapped at .035, works perfect for my turbo le5.

you can gap them, the tip is just very brittle. You need to exercise caution when gapping them so you don't crack the tip

Those BKR are gasket seat plugs. The l61 and le5 use tapered seat plugs.

The proper tapered seat plugs are

LTR7IX-11 (2-step colder)
LTR6IX-11 (1-step colder)
LTR5IX-11 (Stock)

Well I am glad this came up. I was having misfire issues in the higher rpms as well. Hopefully due to the BKR7Es being too short for proper ignition.

Also i wouldnt get the -11. Pretty sure those are pregapped at .043. If you just got ltr7ix they would be gapped at .035.

I can rev all the way to 7500 no problem with them. Idles just fine even with cams.

I am only really shooting for around 300 whp when I get built. I wouldn't think I would have heat problems running it that easy? Is there a bigger pulley available for it?

Am I crazy to think I can run this de-tuned (highly retarded timing) before I go built?
smooth flow pulleys is where i get my pulleys from and they will make custom sizes keep the revs below 7000 and put a 3.3 or 3.4 pulley on it and tune ignition in the sweet spot its not a good idea simply to retard ignition to get a desired power level
