So when i was aiming my headlights tonight i cranked up the car to pull it back into the garage and thats where it started. I cranked her up and it started but it kinda slowly started up. I dont know what could be wrong. i reved it to 3 a couple times and everything seemed fine. This has happened before but it doesnt happen all the time. Im worried it may be the alternator. Any ideas as to what might be the problem. Plugs maybe?

 

Hmmm, it is hard to understand but I take it when the engine turned over it took longer than normal to make a rotation?

 

Yea if it's cranking slow, you have a starting/charging system problem. If it cranks normal but takes a while to fire up you have something else going on...

your fine dude...mine does that once in a while...it kinda studders to turn over...it might just be like something didnt get combusted in the previous ride or something or its time for new plugs...maybe...but im sure its fine i wouldnt worry about it unless it does it everytime

 

mine does it all the time on short trips, like run to the store (2 miles away) and on the restart its a little cranky

 

how long since battery was replaced????

 

More importantly, how long did it take you to aim your lights. If it was more than 15 minutes, thats the reason that the car cranked slow...
