what gear do u dyno?

what gear do u dyno?


i made this run in 4th gear, ht the speed limitor and couldnt go further, i brought hom 127hp and 139 trq, wtf, that trq is offly high, considering i see alot of balts get and pretty close hp and trq number, like stock it was 120hp, 119trq, how the hell am i makig so much more trq?

ps- i didnt have a blower in the ftont blowing air the car, is that a major thing? the car just sat in the thing and ran like that

thank you mods for deleting all the multi post that came up, and to get back on topic, 4rth uh? how do u get past the speed limiter, cuz i hit mine in the dyno, stop'd at 5700ish rpm's,

having a fan blowing in front of your car isn't really going to matter unless you're boosted and intercooled. Your stock fans will kick in if you get above normal operating temp.

That said what was your operating temp at the time of the run? did they scale for humidity, altitude, ambient temp, etc?

There's tons of things that could make your #s different from the next balt. SAE corrections could be part of it but remember no two engines are created equal as well.
