would appreciate it, just got back from data logging low boost, 0-5psi, seems to have gone well. Did see between 11-10 afr was bouncy since i didnt hold boost to long. But will go from there, did find another problem... meh.. oil is leaking from the dipstick where it meets the pan.. how do I go about fixing that? I think I read somewhere ionninja just took his out I believe.. ill have to research, gotta leave for work in an hour though.. cant drive with an oil leak..

u know the ECM monitor IAT at the MAF right? te ambient temp is shown on the DIC, IAT u need a scanner to see, IAT2 is after the intercooler which we cant see...but yeah the pulley will be hot, and just wait till u go with a 2.8...after a few pulls it will burn ur skin to touch the housing...

iat is on my interceptor my coolant temp shown on the dic was between 199-226* only stayed at 226 for a bit then lowered to 208. I was driving fifty and under with no boost. Its about twenty miles. It was only high at full stops at like red light traffic. Whats everyone elses temps look like?

yeah the temp the interceptor is showing is IAT at the MAF, which is in your intake, you wont see IAT2 which is in the MAP the LSJ has, which we done have....

I've paid attention to my coolant temp and I've never seen 226, but mine is an LAP which may be tuned differently.

Speak for yourself, lol j/k. There are some of us 2.2's who can see IAT2's.

What do you normally see after wot? Or sitting at a red? I am running like a very little coolant and mostly water. When i put the radiator hose oni just drained the coolant (most of it) and replaced with water..i figured az doesnt if cold so no worries for freezing.. I may go back to coolant if it keeps it cooler.. It may have air still left in the system maybe..

Your temps are normal. No worries. It's cause your fans don't kick in till around 220ish. My car gets that hot to sometimes. If you hav the ac on the fans will be on all the time. AZ is a bitch with heat. Puts our motors through alot

as long as it doesn't stay there all the time. It should come back down quick as the fans come on. My average temp during the day is 200 w/ ac on. Mostely 195 at cruise

I live in PA, so I'm going to see lesser temps probably. Even after being supercharged I normally don't see the 200's at all... WOT.. etc. When it was in the mid to high 90's here I did see the 208 or something like that, but it was short lived.

anything below 215 is acceptable. If it goes above 215, i'd avoid going WOT till it drops back down. if its above 230, I baby it hardcore, but again, that usually only happens sitting in traffic in excessive heat

WOW!! I've never see my temps that high. That is actually to high for the motor cause at that point the water is gettin close to boiling. I'd double check your cooling system and do a flush if you haven't yet.

The cooling systems on these cars are really great from the factory. Even some of th race cars GM made, still retain an unmodifed cooling system.

Yes coolant helps with boiling but its mostely the system being pressurized that raises the boiling point in the water. If the car is ever gettin above 225 steadily then there is a prob with the system. A leak, faulty thermostat, fans or the cap not holding pressure.

I'm gonna be doing a flush on my cooling and plan on runnng more water then coolant. Gonna do more like a 80/20 water/coolant mix since water cools better then coolant. We rarley see freezing here plus I have a garage to keep the car in, so not worried about it freezing over.

i think my fans wont turn on. I had some AC issues, and my AC pressure is waaaay low...i think this is affecting my ECU's fan logic negatively....just a guess.

thats not good... maybe check wiring? Or hot wire it to be sure... Could be a bad relay too probably not likely though.. That sucks..

Ok great day. Updated tune. Went wot! Only saw 13.5-14psi but in 2nd gear i had the interceptor recording hp it said 291 thats kinda high? Sounds to good to be true is there something i need to change like altitude? Just curious.. Also ambient is off doesnt seen normal.. Going to data log here in a few when it cools abit more.
