Work Fridays/Saturdays, so when I get one off.. I maybe able to trade a day with my partner, so make a date, well go!

Ok, well I said before I had some problems here is how I fixed them!

First off, I could not find the m8x1.25x130mm alternator bolts ANYWHERE, not even online or copper state bolts. So this is what I did..

Got a threaded rod about 3ft in length (for extra just in case..) then used my dremel and cut three individual rods about 150mm (left alittle extra to use pliers to tighten to block.

I lined up the bracket and alternator and put the three rods in and hand tightened them, then I put some flanged nuts on all three rods, about half way then used some vise grips to tighten the rods (not super tight) then tightened down the nuts worked great!

Next I needed to make a bracket for my cobra heat exchanger, so went to Home Depot, and found these:

They were like $5 each, but they were together, so the lady rang them up together...

I then cut them (well my friend did..) just the cross braces off. and shortened the rest to make them like this..

Its also spray painted black, and the parts where the heat exchanger touches the brackets has felt on there.. went to walmart in the pluming section, bought some exhaust hanger (autozone or checkers have it too...) and bent it around the HE, thats it, $8-10 later. Oh and mounted with self tapping screws.
here is after.

Hope this helps the next person..

Oh, and some vids here: http://www.youtube.com/user/x8xViperx6x

Nice HP. Mine currently says 324, but I doubt I actually have that much. I will need to get it on a dyno once I feel it is running properly.

On the M8X1.25x130 bolts, they are cheap and quickly shipped online at boltdepot.com. That is where I got mine.

Just reading through this topic, as I have mounted an SC on my European 2,2.

Did you guys check the LSJ dipstick length correctly? I noticed on my conversion that the important bit, that what sticks out into the oilpan, is a bit different length than on the 2,2. This due to the LSJ's different oilpan/dipstick mounting level...

Very nice, you gotta get it to the dyno, we need some real numbers. I checked online, maybe not boltdepot, couldnt find them.. plus it was like the day of that I actually noticed that I didnt have them, they were the only bolts I had to find. I went to copper state and like every local hardware store around no luck, closes was a 100mm and a 110mm.. wasnt sure they would fit, so I fabbed some up. Works great. it was like less than 3$ for the rod and nuts. Plus had extra.. just in case..

Right now Vince is tuning my MAF curve for my CAI. Once I have that taken care of I will be taking it to the dyno.

On boltdepot, I had the same issue because I was trying to buy grade 12 bolts. They only make the 130 lengths in grade 8.8.
