ZZP Stage 2

I am trying to decide if i need to get the stage 1 or stage 2 supercharger kit from zzp. I want the stage 2 kit but Im not sure if I needed to buy extra parts that the kit does not supply. I thought I heard someone say that you have to do other stuff if you are runnng stage 2. I needed all the advise I can get. Thanks

Jus get the stage 2 kit. bare minimum you will need the injectors (50 or 60 pound work fine) and the pulley and a pcm tuned by them.

however, it is crucially recommended to atleast get a heat exchanger. a dual pass endplate is also highly recommended, perhaps more.

might as well make sure u get an intake as well so you can hear whine

i'd recommend 3" intake and zzp longtube catted system.
then ur car can do this kinda stuff

He's talking about the 2.2 bolt on kit not the stage 2 kit for LSJ's. And OP you shouldn't need anything else to go with it. The kit comes with everything.

Alrighty. I am placing my order in september. I also have another question. On the website it says take 500 dollars off if i dont wont the blower. I need to get that or what. And what does it do. This is my first time ever buying or having anything to do with a supercharger.

You will need a blower, you could get a used one but its best to just get a new one with the kit

I say you do a lot more research and really learn how to do this. then piece a kit together. You can get nearly complete used kits for less than half the price of zzp's. plus the performance output is basically the same and is up to you in the end with what size pully you run. I am getting a used kit for less than 1000 bucks. i was thinking about getting the zzp kit but realized how much money i will save getting a used one.

and you can get a used supercharger too on this forum for around 300 bucks. just look around

Mine cost $1800 sourcing stuff on my own. (that includes fancy stuff like gauges and all the cooling mods)

Going with a used setup is a risk my wallet seems to enjoy. plus, most of the people here take care of their vehicles so anything that is beat on is usually taken care of as well.

not bashing ANY used kit but just make sure you get LOTS of pics from whoever u buy from.
i know of 2 threads where the members needed to buy a new supercharger AND a new turbo.
i would hate to buy something and find out it needed to be replaced. alot of hastle and aggirvation

Is it better to supercharge or turbo the 2.2L ?! I have the base sedan one and I was looking into the supercharger also but I saw couple threads that are saying turbo is cheaper and gives more power...
