I dont see why you couldn't, the LAP and LE5 share the same part number for the bare head, so the bearing/journal sizes would also be the same. when doing the ZZP cams you should use the 78 or 82# valves springs anyways so those wont matter. the only thing you may need to check is piston to valve clearance, but i dont see it being an issue as the LE5 runs more stroke and a higher compression ratio. if it was you could most likey just get a thicker head gasket..

give up and go turbo. im completely lost interest after i did intake/exhaust/2.4IM and tune and got such a minimal increase. Think of the time and energy to get to 200 hp and then you pull up to a light and a 60 year old lady smokes you in a stock malibu. Happened to me. Hated life.

I also got wasted by a malibu...it had 3 extra people in it too when i was just bolt ons of course

WOW that shiz is crazy. i had my 2.2 lap dynotuned when i was on leave in okc, i had a broken radiator fan witch only let me get 3 pulls in before she got too hot. im an N/A setup with 155WHP i didnt keep the graph cuz i was gonna throw on a few more bolts and fix the fan then go back for another run. I'd get on the dyno soon and get up on the top of that list real quick but im still deployed. When i get back ill def post up my stats for you fellas.

Badmab shortty, connected to ZZP's 3" downpipe (with highflow cat). 3" pipe all the way back, magnaflow 14"X8" resinator, 5"X8" oval magnaflow muffler (she purrs). ported the block slightly where the header connects 1/8th" or so, head intake port 1/16th", intake manifold port (both sides 1/16th") K&N typhoon with larger sized filter. Oh and upper engine mount from TTR. when i get back i hope to throw on the

I think every time someone mentions 200whp this comes up.
Anyways after I get my clutch in and lightweight flywheel, I'm going to go E85 and see if I can get some more timing out of it. Maybe make 200 on a dyno where people will stop bitching about
