gave comp cams a call...

called comp cams and asked if they would roll out a line of cams for our 2.2LAP. i know its a long shot but i think if enough of us called they might put something out there. asking all my LAP brothers that would seriously consider this to give them a call. its a long shot but better than nothing. if we can get about 10-20 serious buyers theyll have no choice but to open up to our market. 1-800-999-0853
please post here if you called

thanks, 09LAP

hmmmm i've looked into this before and its the same part numbers from gm for the cams and you cant really mess with the timing anyways cause when i got my car tuned on the dyno the guy that tuned it tryed adjusting the timing and it didn't help so he left it, you cant use adjustable gears cause of the vvt being in the actuators which are attached to the cams,
i emailed zzp to get there input

Your largest problem here is going to be getting even 10 serious buyers. The Cobalt community is a bunch of broke ass kids.

Everyone will say, "Oh yeah, we want that!"

But when it comes time to put up the money, they've got excuses up the ass...

"My mom said I wasn't allowed to buy them."

"I'm waiting on my warranty to end."

"I just gave the last of my money to my dad for rent."

Etc. Etc. Etc. Its been that way for YEARS. And its basically why no one, outside of a very small group of vendors, makes anything for our cars.

Yes I'm broke, do not count me as a dedicated buy right away. But I think that a set of cams would compliment my build plans down the road. So I only posted as to hopefully be updated if this works out for us.
