Not sure which version interceptor you have, but yesterday I tried the "record" option for the first time, and you CAN record HP or any two statistics that you can normally read. I believe it starts recording once you hit like 4k rpm after you select the "record" option in the menu. After you finish your pull, just select "play" and hold the right button to play the run and left button to rewind. Mine is vers. 3.4 if it matters. Pretty cool gauge I must say.

Thanks! Good luck on your first.

LOL Casey. I am going to get a CAI and then probably put it on the dyno to see what happens. I was very happy to see the 275.

This is good info. I just got mine and it is the 3.34 I believe. I will have to check out this function and see if it works... that way I could keep my eye on the road! It would then be easier to read my maximum number. Thanks for posting.

Vince sent me an updated tune tonight to richen up from 12.5 - 12.8 at WOT. I am going away for the weekend so I'll install the tune tonight maybe and then data log when I get back on Monday.

It is running great. Thanks for asking.

Funny story though. Thursday night Vince sent me a new tune for the fuel at WOT and I installed it.

On Friday on the way to work I decided to try out the record option on my interceptor that mtbrent suggested. So I get to a red light where I'm going to be able to go through 1st through 3rd gears. The record option is ready.

So, I pull out and this time I am concentrating on the boost since I was concentrating on the HP previously. I saw 14 to 14.5 PSI. I was like, that was cool.

On the rest of the way to work I was eager to see what it had recorded so I went to the play section to see what it recorded. It says something like 185 HP. I was freaking out... lol. I closed it and went driving down the road further. I'm like ****... Vince just lost me almost 100 HP. What did he do?? Oh no... Vince...

So then I decided to look at play again and it still showed 185 HP. I was like WTF and was really upset. After driving down the road a few more minutes I figured maybe if I clicked on play and then the button again it would give me another number.

Well... turns out that it captures this info in frames... so my whole 1st - 3rd gear pull was like snapshotted every so many intervals. So after messing with it for a few minutes it said I hit 277 HP in 2nd and then 278 HP in 3rd. That is pretty cool!

Need to get some more mods, lol.

It seems as if my a/f ratio at WOT is still only 11.9 to 12.3 so Vince is going to have to give me some more gas.

He said he wanted 11.5 to 12.0. I don't think that is going to cut it.

hey with your 09, did your throttle body pigtail come with 6 pins? or 8 pins?
if it came with 6, any way you can help me figure out how to wire my pigtail into the lsj one?

The 8-Pin has two Low References and two 5V References, whereas the 6-pin only has one of each.

Just connect the 6 Pin's one to the 8 Pin's two.

Yes, I believe since 07 and up they are all 6 pin. Just email me at h3dude@verizon.net and I'll send you the diagrams. You just match up what you're supposed to match up and all is well.

There is a little bit more moving around as well... I believe you mentioned it in your thread too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing it by now, lol, but I had a chance at another 1st - 3rd gear run this morning on the way to work and I hit 285 HP. I used the record function on the Interceptor and was able to read it later.

Vince sent me another tune tonight for my WOT a/f ratio and I installed it. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Surely you have to have more than 180??

supposed to yes but I believe I have some non-blower related motor problems that need to be worked out

we will see what a compression test yields!

btw that should put you at roughly 245whp if the Interceptor is accurate. Are you guys running a 2.99" pulley or an actual 2.9"

Oh, yeah - that too. But the basic gist of how they get from 6-pins to 8-pins is: They move the wires around, and double up two of them.

Yes, I should have around 245whp. I am going to get an intake and stuff before I take it to the dyno. I actually ordered a 2.90 pulley from Nate.

I have an Intense 2.9", so I'd presume it's a real 2.9.

Yes, what he said.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I installed my tune last night that Vince sent and it appears to have given me the correct a/f ratio at WOT. I am currently seeing 11.5 - 11.8. I couldn't really get on it much today as traffic was a bit heavy and it was raining. I just laid back a few times and floored it. I should get a better look at it tomorrow.

Mine usually is between 11 and 12. I think it sticks in the 11s at WOT. Maybe the 12s is right as it's switching to PE.

Normally it should be around 14.5 to 15.2 (14.7 is optimum) at cruising and idle. When power enrichment kicks in and you are at WOT it should be 11.5 to 12.0 from what Vince says.

I am going to get a CAI and was waiting till the tune was completely finished up.

Sounds about what I get at idle/low throttle. And then it'll pop up when I let the blade close, which is normal.

All seems well with the a/f ratio now. I am running 11.5 to 11.8 or so WOT.

I did another 1st through 3rd gear blast this morning and I hit 285 HP on the Interceptor in 2 gears again. I am going to look for a CAI and try and get it on the dyno now since the a/f ratio is fixed.
