intake installed
so the intake I ordered came today, and got installed. and... I'm fairly impressed with it. I can definitely notice a better throttle response, and I love the sound it makes at the high rpms. I feel like a kid on Christmas. haha.

PE Delay really has nothing to do with throttle response in the 2.2L. It's the throttle opening rate. Stock opening rate is 1-8% ramp rate. I've got my opening rate 100% and PE Delay still on and I can spin the tires in place with no brake. Impossible with the stock opening rate.

Interesting, I had always understood PE Delay as being a time thing, ex: .XX sec after WOT, the car actually pulls the TB open to WOT. I know my 2.2 felt laggy as hell before tune, after with PE delay gone and a few other adjustments the pedal felt like it was actually attached to the butterfly.

My other bit of info is this: I set my PE delay to 3000rpm and noticed something interesting. While datalogging before messing with the PE, I noticed a considerable KR at .46-.54G/Sec and 3600-4800RPM at various speeds. Around 80mph WOT in 3rd gear, I noticed 4* of knock for several seconds. After setting the PE delay to 3000rpm, I experience no KR whatsoever on a 0-110mph run at WOT, except for maybe .5* KR when shifting into third.
