Canada LE5 cams in LAP

goodmorning all,

I have a 2010 Cobalt LT. ZZP mid length header, 2.5" dp as well as catback. Injen CAI for performance upgrades as of now. looking to do a NA build and was wondering if anyone has any experience swapping LAP stock cams to ZZP LE5 performance cams. wondering if they'll even work. i heard LNF Stage 1 would work because they have the same head, but i am unsure.

any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Ryan

LNF cams will absolutely not work. No one has proven that the LE5 cams work but they should. There was someone that tried them and bent valves but they were installed wrong was the consensus.

LE5 cams are your only option and they should work, it's just a matter of getting them installed by a reputable shop and hand cranking it to make sure it's all good. As I said it was only tried once on here and with bent valves as the result but we're pretty sure it was just installed wrong.
