LE5 SS/NA cat-back to LAP

I'm upgrading my exhaust and want to give my OEM catback to my dad for his 2007 LT. I understand it will bolt up just fine, but will I have to do anything tuning wise for him? Also, will he throw any CELs with the exhaust?

He's just getting my stock cat back exhaust. I think it may sound better than his? I have no idea if they are even different.

He's completely stock, so I told him I doubt he's going to gain anything from it except maybe a different sound.

Yeah there is a difference. Sound will definitely be better. Also iirc its also better flowing than the 2.2s. But no you shouldn't have to tune for it and no codes will pop up

I switched to a 2.5'' cat back without any problems on the stock tune, he'll be fine. I would assume it's a bit different.
