It is so hard to judge those videos since the camera's and/or phone's speed can change the way things look. It doesn't seem like it is getting up to speed fast enough by looking at that video. The RPM's don't seem to be climbing very fast.

There didn't appear to be any clutch issues in that video? Before I installed my clutch this week I would hit it while mid 3rd gear and the RPM's would go from 3000 right up to 6000 and back down again, lol, and it didn't sound good.

At any rate, I don't hear any turbo noise? Is it just the phone you're using that is causing this?

i cant ever hear the turbo spool either lol. just it release pressure after hitting boost. my window was down. 1/2 - 3/4 throttle my afr was pigging out on me. my clutch sounds like squealing brakes in the lower gears in town when i hit boost. part of my issue with the power is my mbc. i have a tee in the vacuum lines but the mbc is after it instead of before it... so the extra pressure that im trying to keep bleeds off into that instead of holding and going out the wastegate. (have to get that fixed hopefully today)

gene your clutch is also as burnt as my moms cooking too!

You should edit the first line in your sig. I don't think having parts on your car qualifies as being turbo.

if it has a turbo on it... it qualifies as being turbo.

I couldnt hear the turbo in the video either. I also didnt hear any clutch slipping, not doubting you at all, just stating what I saw. You've already got the hard part out of the way, thats the kit being put on! Maybe just needs some tweaking

yeah a little tweaking... you can hear the turbo spool up in town but out on the highway at 60-100 wot with the window down and a muffler delete all you can hear is wind and exhaust. its too wet right now to do a vid of in town there isnt any traction...

I've honestly never heard of a turbocharged vehicle not making any noise at all, lol. I would certainly like to see more information and videos on this and possibly a dyno.

i have tried contacting the dyno place in wichita, with either no answer, no email back, or no call back, so i have to try to locate a different one. hopefully its dry tomorrow so i can adjust my boost controller. i was going to do it today but it rained all day. also vince has been busy and hasnt had a chance to send me an updated tune. the car pulls a lot harder when its colder outside i still have a weird idle too

I know for some people getting a dyno run is difficult due to location, etc. Mine has a weird idle as well, that I'm trying to get Vince to fix. We're going to start working on it again.

yeah vince said mine is normal... but it idles perfect for a while then starts loping and idling rough. im hoping to redo my boost controller tomorrow and turn it up some. 9 psi isnt enough for me lol... i want more power on the highway. in town is just about perfect but highway it is still kinda slow. it pulls hard but doesnt seem to go anywhere

me too, i figure it will be lower than what im hoping for BUT then i know whether i can add more or not. if im at like 200-215 i know i can add some more boost to it and get to the power levels i want. if im at 250 already, im disappointed

dyno has been postponed... i got a call today for a second interview at the local bodyshop, and i start tomorrow, bit of a pay loss from my unemployment but its a job. hopefully saturday i can go instead.
