need power.

Easy question for the pros on css... Whats is a good fuse to use for a power source that's only on when the car is on? Installing a new toy and i need power.

P.s. the fuse panel in the car is the one i want to use.

Thanks for the info. It's a Valentine laser radar detector that I am hard wiring in.

An suggestions for an under the hood power source for something else that only works when the car is running?

Under the hood I used the daytime running lights (DRL) fuse. Only downside is if you ever turn the lights off, whatever you have wired in will turn off also.

If you want something that you can turn on and off, use the fogs fuse
