oil leak

i currently have an oil leak. It appears to be coming from somewhere around the belts and pulleys. what could be causing this leak? oil is getting on my belt causing it to squeak.... I have a 2009 G5 2.2 ALL STOCK no mods.

pictures? Id guess the valve cover is seeping.

There's a few things over there it could be. Valve cover, front cover, plug over the timing guide bolt.

well i recently got my timing chain and tensioner replaced 2 weeks ago at dealership under warranty . Where is the plug over the timing guide bolt located? Can somebody show me a pic of it because i got to bring it back to my dealership. im just curious what it looks like.

That plug I was talking about is on the passenger side of the head towards the front of the car. About the size of a 50 cent piece and has an allen head

I wouldnt even ask on here. If something leaks after service from a dealership (or any shop for that matter) TAKE IT BACK.

If you ever decide to investigate yourself typically I put dye in the oil and use a black light to find out where it’s coming from while the engine is idling. It could be any of those said above or even a slow front main seal leak. The belt on the outside of the crank pulley will throw oil up and all around making it hard to find.

turns out it was the front crank seal and oil relief valve seal....hopefully no more leaks
