Sooo today, i come home from the city and my second gear is wont engage. it goes in but pops back out.... anyone else have tranny problems? ******* pissed

 

Any mods to the car? Short shifter?

Has it been/is it making any strange noises in 2nd gear????

If it is something that just came up out of the blue and there were no symptoms before hand, it's probably a linkage problem, not a transmission problem.

 

no only mod i have is a cat back.

 

I'm gonna guess shifter linkage cable. If it were a synchro, they don't usually just go from working fine to not.
