SS transmission in my LT? help!!

I saw an SS trans for sale in the classifieds section and it interested me..

I have an 09 LT with an auto trans.. would it be possible to just drop the SS trans into mine so that I could have a manual car?

What all would need to be replaced/upgraded for this to happen and work properly?
I know I would need the clutch parts and to get my ecm flashed most likely, but im not sure of what else..

I wonder what it would cost in labor to install yikes

Thanks for the help, I hope i can do this, i really want a manual car without trading mine in!

no, just no. Don't do it. It literally will be cheaper just to trade your car in for an SS, not joking at all. And don't ask who has done this, because no one has, and it's been asked MANY times.

Yea, don't do it. There's tons of threads about this. Everyone decided it's not worth it.

you would be better off using a f23 even then its still not worth it. you need different mounts, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, wiring harness, downpipe, and other misc crap
