Have you still been running them at the factory gap? That'd be surprising; you usually have to close the gap up a bit with boost. I can't remember what my LSJ ran, but I seem to recall it being mid-30's from the factory.
How old are the plugs you have? Personally, I'd swap to NGK plugs. I run them in everything that I own; NGK is top quality.
You could try 50; I measure what your current plugs are and increase a bit from there. You won't notice the difference at idle, it'll be at WOT. When the gap is too big, you'll get spark blow-out during WOT. You can probably adjust your spark dwell in HPT too, but that's getting a little advanced.

Oh okay gotcha. Yeah I’ve been using autolites for LE5’s since day one, 44 gap for sure. Actually think stock is 40....
On my second set now they’re about 2 months old.

Advancing ignition timing by 10° will cause the spark plug tip temperature to increase by approximately 70° to 100°C.
A colder heat range spark plug may be necessary if the ignition timing has been advanced to near the knock level. Higher cylinder temperatures near the knock level will bring the spark plug firing end temperature closer to the pre-ignition range.
FORCED INDUCTION (TURBOCHARGING, SUPERCHARGING)

One step colder for an l61/le5 is stock heat range for an LSJ, so Id say you should run those at least. LTR6-IX would be one step colder iridium plugs. LTR7 is two steps colder(one step for lsj).
They dont really make proper copper plugs for our engine but I have had good luck running LFR6 or LFR7 plugs that use a gasket seat if you want something cheaper. Keep in mind copper plugs need to be changed more often.
Well I ordered NGK 6509 before leaving work should be there in the morning. Thread sizes look good, 6 heat range so one step colder for me, ground electrode, comes in a 44 gap and I'll probably try 48-50
Nope that was all she had. Not bad but still got .4 to go.

omg brotha you are soo close to them 13's. I think next pass once it gets a little cooler out you will get it. So I did get confirmation on Friday from Powell(Gloria) that the YYZ's are delayed due to US border issues. So here is my dilemma lol. I thought about the Eibach Pro Springs Kit instead. Are they as good as YYZ'S? If not then I will just wait. The other issue is that i'm pretty sure one of my rear springs is broke. I'm getting crazy clunky over ever bump now. I just under my car tonight hoping it might just be a loose exhaust hanger but everything was tight on the exhaust.

Idk something still seems off, I feel it still should’ve picked up more mph..
The new spark plugs were great all day at the strip.. but... on my way Home, started getting spark blowout at high rpms. Actually makes a pretty cool sound lol. Didn’t think I would recognize the occurrence if it actually happened.

Double check the exhaust hangers I had one that wasn’t even on for the longest time but exhaust still felt supported at the tip..
IMO those are just lowering springs. My lowering springs lasted two years on the car before I, decided to take them off. At this point I would only put Powell on, they’re the only handling spring (again imo). I’m sure they have Bilstein packages in stock but they are worth a pretty penny

Yeah that's what I figured brotha. I'am just going to wait and get the best on my car and get the yyz's once they come in hopefully this month. Yeah ok i'll have a closer look tomorrow in proper daylight and see if any of my hangers is off or loose.
New idea here.. Gonna pull my ABS fuse tomorrow see if I get full timing at wot in 3rd, then I could just add a "TM switch." about 80% sure this won't work haha but eh its something to try I guess
EDIT: actually, no need at all. Had full timing today with stock torque reduction table, only thing I changed was 'stall TM,' set those values to 7200 and 7000
So that's a win! I guess that table does more than described... Who knows maybe this all being documented will help someone else who turns VVT off. I believe that's why my TM is being fussy..
Definitely need to close the gap on them plugs though, pretty sure I was shooting flames today lmao, probably start with 48 see how it goes.
never a dull moment for me... Adjusted my plugs to 0.047 last night, threw em in, went to drive the car to work this morning. dead miss on cylinder 2 under load. I initially though it was sill spark blowout but brought out the laptop went around the block just now, pulled the coils and I see cylinder 2 has cracked porcelain. So another 30minutes till she's cool and gonna pull em all. sigh. smile.

Double also: are you using an actual spark plug socket, and not a regular 5/8"? I'd assume so, but if you are just using a regular 5/8" (or metric equiv), that can sometimes be the problem, as they don't have the internal bits that hold the spark plug securely (keeping it from bouncing around in the socket).
NGK's? Did you buy them locally? Still have the boxes?
I buy my parts locally yes, I work for a Parts department at a Chrysler dealership so yeah warranty would have been totally do-able except they were my 2 months old autolites, not my new NGK6509s.
I did pick up another set of NGK 6509's yesterday just in case for whatever reason. & Decided to gap them to 0.046 today and they're going in tonight.

But no I don't think over 0.04 is that big for my mods. Car was running fine with 0.044 just had a little bit of blowout at 6600 rpm ish with 0.050. So I'm sure 0.046 will produce no blowout.
