the lowest pulley you can run without having to machine the supercharger for it to fit is a 2.8" pulley, you will also have to have every supporting mod for intercooling otherwise your IAT2's will be through the roof.

False.
The 2.7" made by smothflow clears stock m62 snouts. I had one.

2.8" is a good pulley to stay with IMO, thats the one I'm using. I believe 2.8" takes the blower the recommended maximum RPM for the M62 from eaton. Which I think is just around 15,000rpm. You still need adequite cooling mods though spinning the blower that fast.

Will the stock LE5 take all that AND a shot of nitrous? I know 06-07 are forged but I wouldn't put that much faith in them. Nitrous is BRUTAL on bottom ends.

One thing i have learned about nitrous, is its all about how you use it and how you tune it. If your constantly blasting dry shots off the line from 7k, I wouldnt be expecting much out of a stock block. But a well tuned wet shot, direct port preferably, from a 2nd or 3rd gear pull should be just as smooth as running more boost.

You could say that the weak spot is the pistons on the LE5 as they are not forged, but I have never had an issue with T6 heat treated cast pistons with ring lands as thick as they are on the LE5 have a problem with anything under 400hp, and from all that ive researched and read over the years, the rods should be just as capable, along with the crank, as the LSJ is in its stock form. Tuning is really the key to longevity.

Said this before: I was 2.6 pulley and E85 all last year (super fun car)

This year is 2.6 pulley and E85, ported head with 82# valve springs and 75 wet shot (pre blower)

Goal is 400whp with that setup

Im dailying my stock 06 LE5(head studs, ported head)
2.6 tvs; 24gph meth

will be dropping the meth to 7-10gph and making the e85 jump...I was toe to toe with a bolt ons, tuned, e47 LNF at 25psi this weekend...cant have none of that; we were both NLSing by the way

And we bringing that torque thru the roof with some fun VVT tables

Get badass flow thru coolant reservoir, dual pass(eliminate the T fitting and have 2 hoses go to reservoir), phenolic, meth, griffen HE
