Well consider my 159whp on a mustang w/ I/E/T and GTP's 168whp dynojet w/ I/T I think its very possible. CA's header dynoed 10-12 at the wheels on a stock 2.4. And the cams JBP made for the 2.2 eco's in the cav's they gained 26whp. With those two added with a re-tune i think we will hit 200whp. So yes its all estimating now, but educated estimating . Well have to really wait for G5mike's dyno's after the cam install and tuning.

The 2.4 SS is a great value for the money. I got mine for a little under 17k with the GMS discount. I had a 2.2 loaner and test drove the SS/SC 4 times. The 2.2 is not bad for what it is. The SS/SC was fun, but in my opinion not worth the price difference between the 2 SS's. I love my 2.4- the handling is really good, the looks are great, and the power is not bad at all. I can beat most comparable cars that I race. The price was the deciding factor for me.

well you can't just add mod gains on top of eachother because they willa ll work together. i can see 200whp with cams, but again cams are NOT a bolt on. i can easily see you guys dipping into 14's with cams, but saying you will have 200whp with just bolt ons (no cams) seems a little farfetched to me.

Check out this link:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showt...2F4+mile+times

Here's a 2.4l auto that ran 15.3 w/o a header. I think there's a lot of hidden potential there.

so what if he doesn't have a header? he has most of the bolt ons that give decent power and ran a 15.3...with those mods that should be around 15.7ish stock. i just really don't see a 15 flat stock, .7 seconds is ALOT in racing.

As a car audio installer, you should know that it's not that big of a deal to install a remote start on a manual transmission car. There are only a couple more wires to hook up than there is for an automatic car.

As an ex installer myself for about 10 years, I know from experience.

dynojets you'll see around 155ish. Mustang dyno's are more 140-145. I dynoed 148 on a mustang with Intake and axleback exhaust only. The exhaust is 2.5" until it reaches the rear axle where it shrinks to 2.25 and into the muffler.

8cd03gro-you have a pm

a really isnt 2.5" until that one part...so if i did a exhaust I would want 3" until that spot. isnt the GMPP only 2.25 or something like that. how is the stock exhaust on it?in that case i mite just do header and downpipe ..i dont want it to be tht loud like some other guys on here...cough cough paul. lol. r shud i just have gm put on the gmpp at the factory...
