Talking 2.4 Supercharged/auto!!!

Well guys i finally got it on ....wow let me tell you its a beast...alot faster than it was before. I drove the whole home w/o any problems till we got to pa...there was some knocking and we pull over and it was the stage 2 belt...its ripping its down to three rib. Im assuming i got to get another stage 2 belt im not sure if cut a rib off it or not but all in all i want to thank Chris aka "streetdreamz" you did a great job man hands down....Im runnning stage 2 pulley, 42.5 injectors, zzp header, 3inch d/p with 2.5 exit ..with the lsj cat back, Lsj throttle body..cx racing heat exchanger...oh guys you dont need brackets...and im pushing 10-12 pounds of boost...and wow does it get up there....u can hear the whine..but im gonns be getting an injen cai real soon. I will get pics later tonight or sometime tomorrow she dirty and needs to be wash...don't got a video camera so i can't get any sounds clips..but most importantly i need a new belt...

Subscribed! This is so awesome, when I get some extra cash... this is pretty much what I want to do to my 2.4/auto. Definitely get specs and pics, and if you get a good tune let us know how it goes.

oh my bad. That sounds awesome... can't wait. Did you use Beck's list and if so did you do anything very different or would it be a pretty good guide to go by?

The reason i asked is because when i had my stage2 installed the snout of the supercharger wasn't machined enough and stuck out past the rest of the pullies about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch. They told me if i drove it like that the belt would end up shredding to pieces. They ended up ordering me a new supercharger under warrenty.

So a 2.4 SC'd would do about 240 and turbo'd would do 290?

Hey so you finally got the S/C put on congrats. You can get another belt from one of the vendors on here but it sounds like you need one now so.....idk. You could try the dealership but aren't they closed on Sunday?
