you HAVE to cut one rib off because our crank pulley is 5 rib. Make sure you cut it straight. Good way to do this is put a razor blade in a vise, clamp it tight, and slide the belt across the blade slowly.
If you don't do this, you will shred your belt. Looking forward to seeing your numbers. I'm glad you finally got it done. I knew you would be happy with it. Was I your inspiration?

Hahn's kit was getting around 250 right out of the box. Wouldn't take a whole lot of extra work to push that up to 280-290.

well im glad to see that its on there... what sc housing did you use the one that was cut or the stock one ???? im glad that its makeing nice power for you... but i think you spent more then you needed too.. but thats my opinion...

You cannot say 'turbo is better, it will make 290hp'. Thats BS because it has nothing to do with turbo or blower. Its all about the AIR. You can move enough air threw the 2.4 with the M62 and make 290whp easily. and the engine can take it. Its been proven to 400whp.
So please, if you have nothing good to say about Jimmys2007CobaltSS/C's car, then stay out. Im sick of you people coming in here saying one things better then the other. just trying to help guys. this type of build is honestly the most cost effective way to boost your 2.4. a 250whp DD is not something to laugh at, especially with a roots blower. I know he will be making some sweet numbers with all his mods. can't wait to see the results!

hey guys pics are in the first page..no sound clips no video camera...i have a few bugs...engine light is on but i think thats from before i had the s/c on..cause it runs fine...idles fun..whines like a bitch...need an injen or fujita soon...got a coolant leak..so i have to fill it up every other day...i got vaction on october 6-10 so taking it to the shop and got to get a new stage 2 belt cause i lost some ribs..all in all its really fast alot faster than before enjoy
