about a catalyst

i want to remove my cars catalyst, but the check engine will turn on so what can i do without installing a exhaust catalyst?? cause iam goint to install a home made tubing 2.5 inch

not if you have a high flow cat. your car will still pass emissions, the new high flow cat will just be able to let more air through faster. I thought our cars already had high flow cats though?
