Yes automatics have that clearance issue since the motor sits more forward.

So that's what it is... I have looked at a lot of SS's wondering WTF is going on.

Yup. Just means more room in the back for a big turbo

Like putting a 1900 on a Cobalt This is a local Denver owners 06. I purchased a lot of his spares to get my Supercharger project going.

That's so sick. My friend has one of those on his. It's badass. I thought I would have issues fitting the tvs 1320 on.

I bet the front two bolts on that 1900 are a PITA to get in and out. I can hardly reach them with the TVS and is my least favorite part about removing or installing the SC.

I made custom rotated mounts that pushed the engine forward a good bit, but i dont have an upper grill, so i just take off the radiator brackets and its easy.

That is hands down the bitchenest engine bay I have ever seen! Not gonna lie, that supercharger has got a lot to do with it!!

EDIT: nevermind, I'm guessing that's someone else's build. My bad. Your engine bay is seriously bad ass though.

Extended my MAF wiring and wired my TMAP... everything else is pretty much done except as soon as I started it I set an IAT code. Checked my wiring, went back to the IAT in the MAF and it works, go back to the IAT in the TMAP and nothing. So it appears amongst everything else that was bad in my kit, the TMAP's IAT is bad. If anyone thinks I missed something, shout out but if I connect the tan wire back to the MAF's IAT data is back.

It was running very rich until it hit CL so I looked over my settings again and caught where I forgot to set my Injector flow rate up from the stock injectors. Until I get a new TMAP, I will have to stay out of the boost.

Just a couple quick snaps of the throttle to 4k the boost snaps to 7psi... I am hoping that's normal until I can do a proper pull and bring the RPM's up further.

Everything sounds good. The supercharger is pretty quiet till I do a snap throttle then it is really loud. Of course, the air filter is sitting in the open with the front end off.

Excellent build thread, really informative and thorough. Thank you for taking your time and sharing.
That's intersting your IATs from your MAP isn't coming through. Hopefully someone can shine some light on that, but I guess it could be a faulty IAT in the MAP.
Great job!

You can boost on the one bar map. I would disable dynamic airflow so the fueling all comes from the maf.

Add another to the Supercharged 2.4L list....
After my new TMAP comes in I will finish the split loom. Spent time tuning rather than doing that this afternoon.

I installed the OEM heat exchanger up front for now. Getting the ZZP heat exchanger later.

Looks nice man. Do you have access to a dyno for tuning?

What kind of boost are LSJ's making at our altitude? I'm getting to 9psi but were just about 3psi less than Sea Level and it was hot as hell today.

9-10 psi on a 3.1 pulley sounds about right. We will have lower psi than an lsj on the same pulley. When I was on the stock lsj pulley 3.34 I was at 8psi and lsjs are around 12.5

Nice.... Another 24 cubic inches takes up some extra space and my vac / boost gauge sits 3" negative engine off. I contacted Glow Shift and they said if I send it back in they can adjust it for my altitude for a mere $75.00

I need to find a new one that self calibrates for altitude and does a key on engine off zero

I looked at Dynamic air flow and I have it disabled based on the Stage 2 MAP

Thank you... It will look better once I get the wiring recovered with split loom. I am leaving it open until my TMAP shows up. Bummer that was bad but much of what I received in my kit was.
