Wow! Amazing build! Loving the red cold air intake and valve cover. I was running 8 psi on stock lsj pulley, 13 psi on 2.9 pulley but mines a 2.2 LAP.

Car looks clean and couldnt have done a better job myself, good luck getting traction lol

It really does look good. I don't think I've seen a cleaner engine bay. I don't mean the paint. I mean like the engine and hose etc. it looks brand new lol. There's like no dirt anywhere.

During this whole build what was the most difficult thing?
I'm really interested in doing this by taking out most of the parts from my lsj (I want to turbo swap that) so I think parts wouldn't be so hard for me but I'm also not very experienced with motor stuff.
Do you think this is something an average person can tackle with little knowledge?

Yes. Just read up and try to get an understanding of how everything jives before you dive in.

Nothing was difficult other then putting the shorter belt on.
Many things were frustrating because there was limited and bad info posted.

The intake manifold was hitting the Starter cable connector but I caught it right away as it wouldn't quite go flush against the head. Loosened the starter battery cable nut and rotated it. Imaging what could have happened if not caught when the battery cable was reconnected?

I picked up another 08, 2.4 LE5 Complete. Next pics will probably be of that build.
Trying to gather info on latest components to use... especially timing chain, gear updated info.

I'm upgrading rods and pistons.... After that I should be in good shape. Still spooked about the foam cast block.

Work I did before the supercharger. The seat I redid first was the passenger side which was a lot worse then the drivers side. Then I found as SS interior and never installed them.

This is round number 3. I supercharged my car with a kit and had it running in a weekend. It was easy. But of course it wasn't fast enough so I got a TVS. To use the TVS I needed forged internals and somewhere along the line I started burning oil so am starting fresh with a new engine. What I am doing is slightly more involved than just installing a supercharger. I've had that damn supercharger and components on and off so many times I could install a supercharger kit with my eyes closed

lol you understand, the one i bought from you has been working great, but it is getting me 15 psi on the 2.9 pulley when my other supercharger only got me 13 psi. Any idea why that is?
