Ati Super Damper

http://www.atiperformanceproducts.co...ts/damserp.htm

ATI Super Damper it claims a 12% under drive i have a few questions pertaining to this. Is this drivewayable job?
On a scale of 1-10 how hard would you say it is on these cars (transversly mounted is a bitch in the pulley department).
Is it a notable gain?
Does it require any thing like a rebalencing ect?

its easy to do, but may not be worth the money for 2-3hp.

However, do a before/after dyno and post your results.

Correct its for the 2.2 however unless im mistaken it should fit all ecotecs.

Im not really looking to this mod for more hp so much as less rotating mass leads to quicker revving engines which inturn should lead to better responce.

However i wouldent want to "booger it up" so it wouldent be a reliable daily driver. Ive seen what happens to cars with bad or wrong Harmonic balencers (picture an earthquake in your car)

i don't see why it wouldn't fit an LE5, IIRC, the pully is the same.

LSJ is based off of the L61. LE5 has many differences. LNF is based off the LE5. L61 gets the LE5 treatment by way of VVT for 2009.

Hope that helps clarify some stuff.

this is all true, but they are still in the ecotec family and all interchangeable to a degree.
the only difference between the LSJ crank pulley and the LE5 is the number of ribs and overall diameter. the L61 crank pulley is identical to the LE5. I havent seen an LNF pulley yet, but i would bet money on it being the same as the LE5/L61
