bad rev spot?

So i was calibrating a Gtech in my car and when it asked me to do the rev part in the rpm calibration i was holding the revs at about 2500 and the car started to vibrate shake, spit and sputter.. . This only happens between roughly 2200-2900 rpms. It feels like it is about to start chugging. Anyone ever had this? Ideas?

ummmmmm ask these westers people what they did to your car. my ecu has never been reflashed or tuned, no vibrations, shakes, spits, chugs or sputters. did you screw around with any vaccum lines, spark plugs, wires, sensors, connectors, exhaust or anything lately?

My 06 HHR does this only in third gear at about 3,000 RPMS...and only if I hold it there for a few seconds.
