car problems

I have a 06 cobalt ss 2.4 I was wondering if anybody besides me was having issues with either the mass air flow sensor or the throttle body. when i floor the gas pedal it has small hesitations and sometimes no response especially in low rpms

Is it stick or auto? I have noticed the odd time it has small gaps of power when floored from low rpm's (like 2000 or so).

I will get better as the car breaks in.

If it's a brand new car you shouldn't be punching it anyways. Once the initial break in is done you should drive it a little on the hard side to train the transmission (I'm assuming this is an auto.) otherwise you will have some hesitation. I haven't seen any reports of intake or MAF problems so far on the 2.4.

I've never felt any hesitation only when I'm at a complete stop and the traction control kicks in. Thats the only time.

I broke mine in fairly quickly, and personally it's doing wonderfully. Then again, I now have 11K miles on it since I first got it in late june. I drive ALOT. Although, has anyone noticed how shitty the 2.4L tranny is?

Ya i know what your talking about man i dont think it has anything to do with the tranny its deffinately the engine... its almost like a bogging ..... friend of mine told me its cause gm uses shitty spark plugs so when you gun it in lower rpms 2000-3000 the little ecotecs cant burn the fuel fast enough so theres a slight hesitation or like you said seems like there isnt much power

i havent gotten performance spark plugs yet so i cant confirm if it works put it does sound like there is some truth to what he said let me know what you guys think .... hope this helps
