IT RUNS AND DRIVES! Still runs a little weird. Drove it around but didn't dare to get on it. Don't have a boost gauge or wideband hooked up yet. Running ZZP canned tuned for now. Gonna park it and tuck my wires away until I get my gauges.

I'm always throwing p0121 and p0106. Throttle position sensor and map sensor performance. I just ignore it because I haven't noticed anything weird while driving.

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's making the car bog down. When I drive it around it will bog down in 3rd and 4th, like it's lagging or something then finally kick in and jump up in RPM. Turning a corner I didn't have to stop, I downshifted to second to turn and in the turn I hit the gas a little bit and almost stalled out. I think the throttle body is messed up but I'm not sure. It's an LSJ TB. However it WAS from a junkyard. I'm going to put my LE5 one on tomorrow and see what happens.

Also had another code, I forget which one. It was a misfire on cylinder 2. Turns out I'm a retard and didn't gap my plugs. Gapped them, still had a misfire. Swapped coil packs from cylinder 2 and 4. Misfire is gone. (Thank you Noorj) :P

Currently not running a wideband OR a boost gauge...so the car is sitting there until they come in.

Okay, that's what I thought but I was just double checking. My boost gauge hasn't come in yet so I just plugged it with a rubber cap. I have a 3 gauge pod installed and no gauges! n:

durrr

Just got my LSJ belt stuff in as well as a Glowshift boost gauge. I can't find anything on the gauge install for a 2.4 SC. Can I run the one line from the nipple on the top of the intake manifold to the gauge?

Just put the power wire to a fuse that's on the passenger side fuse box. Pick one that's powered when your key is turned to on. That's what I did. It's kind of janky but it works lol.

Another dumb question though..
Do I need to drill a hole through the firewall to run the boost line?

If you can't find a hole that works then yes. But look first there is most likely a spot you can get the hose through.

your 5 speed right? right by the clutch against the firewall inside the cabin there is a black rubber grommet that is 2 pieces, you pull the inner part out towards you. then you'll see the hole, push as much **** as you can fit thru there and put the inner grommet part back in. if you shove enough **** in there the inner part wont fit anymore so you'll have to trim the hole a little. it'll make more sense when you get under and look at it

Sounds interesting!

Still throwing an engine code with that throttle body. Won't be until Sunday now until I can install my idler and tensioner/boost gauge/and my old 2.4 TB. With my custom idler the belt chirps and slips, not sure if belt slip would coincide with the TB opening and closing..
