Couple of Questions [Help Request]

Ok I have 2 questions that I was not able to find not only on CSS but also wasn't able to find it on the wide world webs.

1. If I put a Injen CAI on my 2.4L, Do I need to open the gapping from .040 or should I run a slightly tighter gap (Currently on a .038)

2. I have a slight stutter when stopped. Its hard to explain but I thought it was my fuel filter, then I thought it was my plugs, now I'm not sure what it could be other than the fuel rail / injectors. There is no phsyical RPM change on the TACH, the car just lurches a little at stop lights.

Thanks for any help on this!

So I checked out a TB Clean "fix" that someone told me about in real world. I will find out if this fixes the problem but I think I need to add a little information if anyone out there has come across this.

1: It only happens while in gear. I do notice if the AC Fan is on (Heat or Cold) the RPMs fluctuate slightly but this has happened in pretty much every car I've been in. Its simply your Compressor building pressure.

2: I can barely feel it if I have the brake completely compressed. I can REALLY feel it if I put ~50% brake pressure on the pedal. Its so bad that the dogtags I have hanging off my rear view moves with the lurches / stutter...

Are you auto? If you are it might be your cam sensor acting up. You should go to the dealer asap!

Indeed I am Auto, I shot some TB Cleaner into the TB earlier today while it sounded good for awhile, it made it a little worse to the point that I can see a power surge (dims the cluster while it lurches). I need to have it taken to the Dealer to have the tranny serviced but I'm worried that my Injen CAI will cause an issue with them wanting to do the maintenance at all...

If its dimming lights, thats a power issue. Whether you're not getting enough power from the alternator or something else causing it.

What exactly have you done to the car? Have you messed with your battery or anything?

Also how did you clean your throttle body? You have an electronic throttle body so there are certain things you are not to do otherwise you will mess up the calibration.
