Ecotec Underdrive Pullies?
So.... has anyone heard about any underdrive pullies for the N/A Ecotecs? I'd like to find one for the AC compressor... maybe some other stuff.... try and gain some power that way. Opinions?

heheh.... thanks for the info... but if I can find one for the A/C compressor I'll probably get it... just because I rarely ever run the A/C anyways... even in the summer... I prefer windows down, roof open.

if the 2.2 pulley would fit then the crank and alt pullies are all you will find
the a/c would require alot of work to make and change , plus the a/c doesnt really draw any power down when its not being used

Most AC units have a clutch that engages the AC pulley only when the AC is turned on.
The cobalt also doesn't have a PS pump to drive either so even less draw on the crank.
Go electric power steering!
I have seen you can gain some horse from replacing the balance shafts with a racing neutral balance shaft and thant can pick you up some power. GM claims it takes 10 HP to drive the balance shaft on the LSJ.
