Jerry G Exedy makes the strongest clutch out right know for the SS/SC http://www.cobaltperformanceparts.co...roducts_id=180. But I beleive you have the Ls so I'd recommend the spec 2 or 2+ in that set up unless yor going with boost later then go 3+. And yes do a clutch wheel you do your flywheel, less of a hassell in the future, and it's a pretty comon fact that the stock cobalt cluches aren't the greatest. Little extra hint to anyone buying a flywheel be sure to clean the surface of the flywheel that the clutch connects to with brake cleaner before installing the clutch, there's a clear film on the flywheels that has to be cleaned off to insure the best brake in of the clutch.

What other option do the 2.4 have clutch wise? $ 300.00 is probably going to be hard to beat on price whats the hp/tq rating

i think im the only one with a lightweight flyweel on a ls and let me tell u
it pulls hard now an i got the exedy stage 1 to but the revs arent that much different its faster but its not that fast it def give u a nice way to take off and have some extra power and it moves i beat cars that i usto only hang with b4 i say its a greast investment if ur doing a trany mod plus its sooo much lighter than the stock flywheel
and its not that hard to do u just gotta drop the undercarage and it literaly bolts in place perfect.

It's not really the product with the issue it's the user if you don't properly break in the any cluth, or dont replace the trow out bearing your probably going to have issue I know from exsperiance with my old cavalier Z24 it blew the stock throw out and cleaned off the centerforce dual friction clutch.

If we do a group buy it should be on the fidanza Flywheel. I might beable to jump on it depending on the Group buy price.

same as me, there is another guy on the 2.0 asking the same question and wants one. I am weighing some options but very intrested in it since i have my complementry mods for it. but if the price is good i am in. The install is what is holding me back to just buy it out right. Its going to cost me 250 for the install yikes. 4-6 hour job good thing i get a discounted rate.
