ass

i guess i just assumed it was the same as the ss.sc which is actually under rated from the factory numbers on average.

no need to get smart with me, ive been around here long enough.

And you just now figured out that only the SS/SC's are under rated?

Interesting.

honestly, i thought u were joking. but its all good. i try to stick to the point. i thought the numbers were decent considering all the stuff i had on my z24 cavy and it didnt even have this much at flywheel, and the fact i noticed some 2.2 guys saying with their mods they dyno more than a 2.4...

A fully bolted (I/H/DP/E/Mani) makes as much as a stock SS/NA or a little more.

We get about 180-190whp bolted with a tune.

Ok ok, I'll be nice now, but a bit of advice:

Lighten up, you gonan have a heart attack or something, it is just the internet

The auto sucks a decent amount of HP out these cars too...I watched a 2.4SS auto dyno 147 to the wheels completely stock

Intake and cat back do more than expected.

On the same dyno I dyno'd 167(5M)

I would expect 158-162 out of an auto

Here is the cam spec sheet:

http://tunersource.gmblogs.com/Racer...FO-SHEET-2.pdf

Your best bet would be to do some research and get some OEM regrinds along with valve and valve springs...cams only make the powerband higher...and if you plan on revving higher better make it so you won't blow your **** up

just go to www.turbotechracing.com

You will find everything you need.

I suggest you get a CAI and a cat-back for it.

Trust me it is the easiest 10-15 whp ever

If you plan on pushing the car hard I suggest looking into a tranny cooler for her auto.

Take out her snorkel gay thing in her passenger side fender...

i ordered that intake all the 2.2 guys are raving about. im gonna be the first 2.4 guinea pig. i dont believe in wasting $200 on piping with a filter anymore. they seem to back its durability and function now. on exhaust im just gonna get that 2.25 section switched to 2.5 like the rest and add a good magnaflow muffler. im still tryna figure a good header/dp combo. i was leaning toward pacesetter like i said, but i still dont know wut dp to use with it, also looking at the cobalt addiction header and xtc dp

i found the link to the cams. http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/...Cobalt/Redline
although they are expensive i think they're worth it, and with all the bolt ons and a good tune i can pretty much keep my warranty by not goin in the shop boosted..

You get what you pay for.

I am not saying blow your money on the GMPP intake...it is not a bad piece...but I went with AEM.

GMPP cat backs are cheap...and a nice gain...W/E you do don't get bigger than 2.5" anything exhaust wise on an LE5...there is no point

of course.. its hard to mess up an intake tho. i can go make one and probably gain the same amount... i wanted the gmpp intake but im buying my friend's ITD. and i saw that it interferes with placement. did u see my exhaust thread? people in there were telling me how its not much of a difference between full catback and swapping that section out, the big thing is header and dp which is my dilemma..

As long as you stay away from the GMPP honed manifold bullshit you will be ok.

That thing is total waste of money.

My CA header with ZZP dp is freakin nice.

If i didn't have it I would have the ZZP mid length or the drool worthy Vibrant

But anything other than the GMPP and stock will be a HUGE improvement...our stockers look like toys
