why don't you pay Al and Dan to tune yours with HPT and be done! I mean Doug you spent a ton of money on this kit. Why not throw a wideband on there and let them tune it right away. Dan's car was PERFECT. I mean it ran like a factory turbo. No cels no hesitations and it pulled like crazy.

Bottom line. Pick up an wideband, call up Al and Dan and finish your car!

the car is finished actually. I just need to get it on the dyno hopefully later today to fine tune it with the boost fueler.

Do you know why Dan gave up on his?

I am sure he will respond. All I know is his turbo called it quits. Mechanical failure.

Don't forget the following when you get yours done:

1. Dyno plot with AF
2. In car video of it boosting

You might have to take it to the dealer and get a crank re-learn done. Only like 50 bucks or so, some have to have it done when they get their ecu tuned through the mail in process.

Relax everybody! His PCM got completely reflashed, its common to have to do a case re-learn after that. My only surprise is that Hahn didn't tell you of that possibility.

well the car is at the dealer now, im not bashing hahn although i was upset the tech department is closed for days. but the t/c light is still on and the cel is hopefully gonna get cleared by the dealer. i really hate that t/c light being stuck on though, the tranny shifts like crap with it.

Again, im not bashing them! I just needed an answer to my problem since i couldnt get a hold of them. this is a hahn kit that is based off a garrett kit. That post was before we found out the turbo was listed wrong and that was fixed now.

Not to fear, folks. I've been in touch with Doug, and all is well. I responded to his email to me within an hour of him sending it. He's excited to get his car finally done, and we are there for him every step of the way, from offering to help him out of the jam he was in, to seeing it through to the very end.

To explain...Doug had contacted us looking for clues to his tuning troubles, and I offered to let him in on our solution, even though he had already purchased the turbokit from another party and was struggling. I made an exception for him, and provided him with a tuning solution to complete his Garrett turbokit.

It's that time of year again...Vacation time! And our regular tech support man is out on his yearly break. So we all 'pinch hit' for him while he's gone It only happens once a year.

honestly isnt a downpipe useless with out a turbo/supercharger? like it truely wouldnt give horsepower. i thought its the header, and the downpipe is just for coming off of the manifold?

No one's more surprised than us! It's not been an issue we'd seen before, and we will assure it won't happen again

Sorry about my venting guys, its been kinda stressful for me these last couple weeks and I'm just getting really anxiuos to feel that Hahn turbo power under my foot. hahn is a great company with great customer service, I just kinda jumped the gun. hahn has me covered under this whole situation and if it came off as bashing that was not what i meant it as. This is still a semi prototype situation for me and i will be updating with all my dyno numbers and track times as well as pictures and reviews. Thanks for listening to my venting. The issue is taken care of now. Carry on.
