How do I ask the dealer to do a crank relearn
#2
They arn't just going to do it cause you ask them to. They gonna get paid.
If you dont tell them what you didand try it under warranty, then they will most likely get the lastest software off Tis2Web and reflash you right back to stock.

Just tell them you need a crank re-learn. Usually they won't ask any questions, but if they do just say you had to replace the pcm. Its not an un-common thing to have done. You'll fine.

A friend of mine is a mechanic (Not from the dealership). Says he can do it for the Cobalts with his scan tool.
"colbalts will work, its a standardized procedure with the updated scan too"
Which I guess means that any place can do it, Like Autozone/Canadian Tire...etc...
Anyways, he'll be doing it for me for free.

Heck my dashhawk can do it too. If anyone needs a case relearn that is from Sioux Falls South Dakota let me know. I don't think you should have to pay for that. Also if you want to go do some performance tests for your mods I would be glad to help out.

Jeff if you make an appointment at the dealer it took me 30 seconds for them to do. Just tell them you have a performance tune on your PCM (which is new to your car) and they can do the crank (case) learn on it. The tech hooked up and 30 seconds later it was done. The car will run without this done but this just sincs up all the sensors for timing, crank etc.
Can't wait
