My 07 SS/SC is being a pain in the **** also. We finally got HPT to scan my ride, we did some tuning and then found out that I had a bad 60lb injector, so we swapped the 42's back in, put more of a stg2 tune on her temporarily till we could get my ride back on the dyno to tune her right, and today she wouldn't read AT ALL. Man am I aggravated. HPT wouldn't scan my PCM at all, we tried everything except hooking it up on the bench, which we will try at another time. The shop was hella busy, soooo...I have to take it easy yet again, and hope for the best next time we try.

I just don't understand how it would hook up, and scan with no problems one day and the next it won't even scan the PCM at all.

Jeff also found a few other cool things to change that Steve and DOC didn't! He's useing the pro soft ware so he think maybe he get to stuff they couldn't have.

Well I'll keep you all updated as to when and IF it ever gets tuned.
That sucks, at least everything worked out in the end. People like that know how to run a bussn. They take care if you if something happens and its their fault. Makes you want to go back, they will take care of you. Good luck man.

And THATS the reason I'm willing to let him have another go at it! All because he stood behind his work and when a probem did arise HE offered to fix it before I said a word.

Very good bizzness man if you ask me.

Why should I not go back to someone after their system crashed and they PAID to get my car flashed back to stock at the dealership, he also paid for the rollback to get it there. Seriously what more could he have possibly done to fix a problem caused by HPT?

Let's get something clear here.... I did NOT call DOC a "wanna be tuner". I know him. He's a good guy who's tried to help others. DOC was kind enough to load someone else's (will NOT name the source!) tune. Not his fault.

wow, i am so glad i didnt attempt to tune myself. i would like to learn as much as i can about tuning the 2.4 if someone can give me an article or website that goes endepth about HPTuners that would be greatly appeciated.
