I/H/E/T and Cams Dyno?
yea its cobeezy.. but like i said.. 1-100... EVERYONE's bashing the vendor. plus look at it like this. the 2.4 turbo kit from zzp at stg 1 is 1999, they told me roughly 50 to ship. so if i refund the cams and lifters thats 620 back in my pocket. my intake header and dp will no longer be needed, so i should be able to get rid of them for 3-400. in essence id really only need to save about 1k more which i was gonna do for the valvetrain upgrade which ill no longer need.
i was thinking about the zzp kit also, but if i did it i would want to go with the stage 2 kit because it is intercooled. Along with that does it come with a base tune if you don't pay the 750 to get it installed and tuned? (something i wasn't sure about). If not there is money for a tune along with i would needed an upgraded clutch.

i just want this car to hit 12s really. With the stg1 ill have enough power to enjoy my car more. I've got the appearance down, i just want the power to match the look. stg 1'll keep me happy, then ill get my own intercooler and i got some 42s lined up already and ill up the boost a little. after that the goal for the following summer will be rebuild so i can throw more boost at it..
despite wut lsj guys say. the higher compression the 2.4 has keeps it more in efficient range since we're not boosting it as much. i think if u can get a 2.9 on there and meth with a good tune, bolt ons, and drag radials u should hit 12s. the people with sc 2.4s now i think are all auto.
Yeah thats my whole thing, i keep debating what to do. SC or Turbo, on top i have an extra head with those cams laying around. Anyone have any insight on how to get to 12's for the best reliability, bottom end will be fine, hahn proved that but the head i think it needs a mild build plus PnP would help out with boost so maybe with a ported SC and ported head= 12's easier. Someday i'll pick something
u dont have to build the bottom. that was just for safety measures. there's an extra 2.4 here for 500 i wanted to build that while i did everything else. I think its safe tho. as long as ur not driving rediculously our cars should be fine. biggest concern for me is the tranny
yeah, there is a tranny here for 425 with 10,000 miles i was thinking of buying it having all parts replaced that needed it if so then have it cryo'd. I've herd a lot of good news about that and i know a local guy with a rx7 that runs 10's on stock tranny that was cryo'd. Dunno how well that tranny is build to begin with but its holding up just fine for him.
