injen causing cel

Hey guys I don't have a 2.4. but I had the intake on my 2.2 I'm taking it off and my friend was going to put it on his 2.4 malibu lol long story short he had it set up as the sri and after about 60 miles he got a cel... I never had any issues can someone help or tell me why its doing this. And how to prevent it? Thanks chris

It's a Cobalt.. They get random CEL's for unknown reasons.. lol

But no, my intake it's self never threw anything..

Are you running the Injen filter or something else? The MAF sensor fully tightened down?

yea injen filter and sensor is tight. my cobalt never threw the cel..... it was my friends malibu that we put the intake on when i took it off my car and it threw the cel
