Injen Intake... Oiled??

Injen Intake... Oiled??

OK.. I am just looking at the injen site @ Injen.com
I wasnt sure weather it was a dry or oiled filter they used.. I didn't oil it when I installed it.. should I have?? Or is it pre oiled what????

Anyone???

i dont know about the injen but i know the k&n is a oiled filter that needs to be re oiled.

Injen is oiled but i havent heard any problems about injen messing up the MAF , but K&N Fuct up my MAF so i switch to a K&N pipe with a AEM filter. work great !!!!

I installed it.. but didn't oil it... would it not have been pre oiled??
Or should i run out get some oil and oil the bugger

mine is the injen filter. It is oiled. Just slapped it on and had no problems with it. You dont have to do nothing with injen's.

it comes pre0oiled,it doesnt hurt to wipe it down after recieving it.

Actually I've seen posts here where the Injen has caused CELs due to polluting the MAF. The key is to keep it REALLY dry as possible. The best solution is a true dry-style filter. I prefer the GMPP, but the Injen is well made (it's also popular with the ricers )

The Injen seemed mor functional.... I don't really want to cut my hood...... (Yet)

I may get a true dry filter for it though.. don't know yet
