Oil Stabilizer

Does anyone use any oil Stabilizer's??
I personally am going to use the Mobil 1 0w 30 oil, but I have been going some research on the Lucas synthetic stabilizer and PX3 Xtreme Oil Booster.
I personally have witnessed one of my friends pouring the Lucas Stabilizer in a 95 5.0 mustang and it quietened down noisy lifters as he poured it in..
The PX3 claims to Increases Horsepower and Torque up to 5% or more.
If so then that pretty good gain for less than 20 bucks..

Check out the PX3 website and give me you opinion..

I've always been a believer that most oil additives can be put in the "snake oil" category.......meaning that they don't actually do jack ****. You definitely don't need to put anything in Mobil 1 synthetic.

ive used lucas once. everything quited back down. i had missed an oil change by almost 1 month. i was delivery driving, and i was short for cash, and i didn't have $ for synthetic. so i prolonged it 1 month and i threw in some lucas stabilizer. i used mobil 1 synthetic as well. i tend to not believe any of that "increases hp n tq by..." propaganda. its just jargon.

Lucas does nothing but thicken your oil. You can accomplish the same thing by using heavier oil at your oil changes. And for less money too.

oddly enough I was at my local Advance auto today and they had five Quarts of Mobil 1 5w-30 full syn and a Mobil 1 filter on sale for 26.99... Needless to say I picked some up..lol..
I dont really see how a additives could improve Mobil Syn oil.. Mobil recommended that you dont add anything to their oils.. Plus if GM recommends it in their high performance engines then you know it has to be good stuff..
A synthetic additive could improve a conventional motor oil, just because you are adding synthetic lubricant to petroleum based oil..
