Replacement Battery

I went to a local audio/video shop and they told me that there isn't a replacement battery that will fit in the cobalt because the battery is in the trunk and its too tight of a fit. I'm hoping that this information is incorrect because I really need a new battery and i was wondering if anyone else has had to replace their battery before with something that is higher performance like an optima yellow or any other deep cell battery. Thanks for your help!

dude, no offense, but, that whole bumping every ten minutes is a tid bit annoying.... I believe that your question has been answered.... the only real "performance" battery you're gonna find is an optima, and people have chimed in (and now I am) where the optima raises the carpet a little...it's no big deal and won't affect the perofrmance of the battery whatsoever
