sounds

ok, so i got my intake for christmas. yeahhh!!!. everything installed good and about 2 days later, i started getting this weird annoying sound when the car starts. it sounds like its down in the middle of the car. (not sure thats exactlly where its at tho). Took a look in the engine also, and noticed the transmission mount in the back lower side of the engine has a big gap in between the mount and the "bracket" i guess. The metal peice that bolts to the mount. Is the gap supposed to be there. Is that causing things to move on startup and cause the rubbing metal sound i hear.

Thanks,

Trey

Sorry for the delay guys. Been working on all our cars but I figured out the problem. The bend in the intake was shaking on the metal lip in the front of the car when it starts and that was what was making the loud noise. I just took a peice of rubber hose, put a slit down the middle, and put it on the metal so its in between it and the intake. Fixed problem. Lol
