With a prototype intake and tune we were at 162whp. We put on a shorty header, but only picked up a few whp with the stock downpipe still in place. I think we should have tested them in the opposite order. The air flowing out of the header runs right into a ridge where the stock downpipe flange inlet is too small. We will get a ZZP downpipe installed and test again.

What are your torque readings?
I think we are around 152 ft lbs, but I will have to double check that.

Did a little more tuning yesterday and revved a little higher. Peak whp was 168 at 6800 RPM.

For a 2.4L that is respectable. So far I've seen dyno charts showing the 2.4L has a fairly flat torque curve due to the VVT -- you seeing the same thing?

Yes, it does have a relatively flat torque curve. I'll get a printout with torque tomorrow.
