ya but if you do that ull get a CEL no?
cuz ure right, that's a much cheaper way to go

Wow, a magnaflow high flow cat is quite cheap actually, would this fit?
http://cgi.ebay.ca/MagnaFlow-High-Fl...QQcmdZViewItem

cuz on the magnaflow website, there's only a direct replacement for the 2.2's, not 2.4's or 2.0's

no i have that same cat on my OBX dp.. im going with the stock lsj because you cannot tune my car yet (long story) and when i can tune my car i will get another header and still use the lsj

the cat is really nice and it tucks just about anywhere you wanna put it Pre o2 or post o2 but for sure the lsj dp is staying on my car ... i want to get the jbp header but not till spring

but like i said earlier if anybody is worried about CEL's there just a thing that comes with modding cars and if you dont want them then dont mod your car haha or suffer the consequences

The lsj downpipe is 2.75" o.d. and necks down to 2.50" right before the catback. The neck down is only about 2-3" long. I had the CTI 3" downpipe, and really didn't feel much of a difference between my stock lsj downpipe and the CTI downpipe.

Update:

LSJ DP pipe diameter is 2 3/4"
LE5 Auto DP pipe diameter is 2"
L61 DP is 1 3/4"

LSJ DP on bottom, LE5 Auto DP is on top. The LSJ DP does not easily fit onto an auto LE5!

Thank you for showing the 2 downpipes together. So many people on here argue and fight that the 2.4 SS/NA has the same size downpipe as the SS/SC. I agree with your measurments of the lsj downpipe, because I just measured mine last night
