has anyone done tuning on their 2.4?? i hear its extremely hard to do correctly due to the vvt components within the pcm (or something like that)

im sure i think its hard only because im greener than a sic baby's #2 when it comes to tuning.

anywho... with the mods that i have listed and getting some stock ss/sc injectors within the next few weeks, i know i'm going to need a tune.

couple of questions... which company should i go with?? hp tuners seems to be the #1 with everyone on the site, but are there any others?? also, what would i need to concentrate on when tuning??

like i said, i know nothing when it comes to tuning. is there a tuning 101 listing somewhere on the site??

Also, try the search - there's been a lot of discussion on the 2.4 tune.

 

ls2 edit and hp tuners are the only programs available. both work well but i think for boost hp tuners is better.

Hptuners. thats wut im using..and it works well. injectors and more advanced tuning on thursday

 

well mr hoffa myself and mr WickedSS2005 tuned my car 2 weeks ago with 2.0 injectors and what i have listed in sig. runs amazing sept for my cel o2 sensor but im fixing that next week. its fast we uppd the rev limeter to 7100 for all gears and nuetral. and the speed limeter up to 145 and i had her up to 140 its very slow after about 120. it doesnt run rich or lean. its alot quicker off the line im still yet to dyno it and track her to but maye in a week. il post all my stuff. im sure im runnin about 185 at the road. i wouldnt mind having the extra 4k and gettin a costum turbo job done then she would get about 300whp. anywhos if you got any Q's about 2.4 tuning or parts let me know i know about it. later.
