For Those 2.4 S/C Guys..

Few questions..

1. Did your gas mileage drop alot or is it the same / very slightly dropped?

2. Is it still daily-driver friendly?

3. Is the fitting of the s/c as a whole a large task, or is it not too bad?

4. Would you guys still have s/c'd the car now hat you have, for the money, if you could go back?

5. How much did the s/c swap, as a whole, cost you?

6. What kind of power numbers are you pulling?

Also, could you post up a pic of your engine bay here? I'd like to see a 2.4 s/c bay.. Any experiences regarding 2.4 s/c-ing would be cool too..

Thanks!

I'm auto btw.. But auto/man works..

Beck did a whoel thing about SC'ing a 2.4. He has his own page and I think it is in the forced induction sticky thread. It lists everything you need, I think it has pictures and prices too. So go check that out. You most likely won't get to many answers here by posting this. This question has been asked many a times (including by me) and sometimes they just don't feel like answering it again.

He actually wants $1500 but thats without the Heat exchanger and piping I think. Someone else is selling one for $1600 and then there is a guy in Virginia, originally from where I am, that was selling and installing a kit in his garage for $2000.

That's why referencing his post would be a good way to go about it. As far as I know he makes mention of every last thing you need to buy the parts.
