Yeah it is what it is. Still a fun car to drive And it does work lol.

 

yeaa.. idk i've been on a tough ass mustang dyno and i put down 248 whp and 236 wtrq on a max of 8.5 psi at 5k then boost would fall off due to belt slip

if his numbers are THAT low.. i wouldn't be trusting that dyno lol either that or his setup needz workz

 

Idk man I think y'all are over estimating the numbers on a 2.4 and a m62. Just cuz we're a 2.4 and boosted it doesn't make is faster. Zdueces has a better chance cuz he has a big turbo but for dragonsfire I'd say 250 ish. Like I said I topped 265 whp, not bad considering I was 149 stock. Personally I don't some of these turboed 2.4 cuz I raced one he in Florida running 14 psi and I walked em. ***plus all dynos read different***

true all dynos are different but everyones guesstimate is based off previous dyno runs and their mods.

i'm estimating based off of what 2.2's put down on similar setups as well as what 2.0's put down a 2.4 should have more then both of them

and what my car put down

also 14 psi on what turbo

an lnf that was bolt and tune
g8
evo
srt-4
plenty of s/c deltas

so thats where i base where i think i should be but its not looking very good either way..

oh and when i ran at the track my car weighed in at 3460 so using my trap and the car's weight shows i should have a bit of some power.

im a new guy i jumped in here to ask about throwing a superchager off a older cobalt on my 09 4door lol i was think about it then the guy sold the part out from under me i was gunna get it for 150 $ then someone ask me if i wanted to go to tht dyno meet but i looked all threw the treads i couldn't find a time ???????????? i called and he answered and said you guys where there but i forgot to ask how long it was going down i started heading tht way i was stuck in traffic so i called again to ask how long and no one would answer i didnt wanna waste m gas to miss you guys so i just turned back......... i would love to see a cobalt car show tht would be great !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

tyrone, was the g8 a g8 gt or regular g8? them g8gt can get realllllll nasty. my boy is runnin 11.5 is his g8, hes plannin on adding nitrous and runnin 10.5 soon

 

I've raced bolt on g8 gt's and won but ones with heads cam and intake mani noooo way

 

agian this saturtday ? i get out off work at 3 then woud have to drive from phoenix to scottsdale

 

my friend put one with a intake and tune in the 12.8s
