Turbo 2.4 dynoing this Sat
if we get on Vince's ass in 6 months we can get an end-user tuning program. get the word out if you're interested. we all know he has the software and he is selling the unlimited suite so we can get this out of him if he see's how serious you guys are about getting this done. hell, it would free up his time not worrying about logging and tuning all of our cars. post up if you're really real about this tuning option. he said he can do it in 6 months, let's give him a real reason to.
1 step colder and i was at .35
update tho. i dropped it down to 10psi and theres no blowout. i got new plugs but havent put em in. im gonna wait till i go meth to put em in.
also vince said my timing was a bit off obviously so ill wait till i go with the meth to redyno
ive seen pics it looked pretty good.
lol u missed the sentence right before that where i said i dropped down to 10 psi and theres no blowout. i ran it hard 5 or 6 times while datalogging and didnt experience anything.car actually seems faster than it was on 12 psi, most likely because there's no issues. my afr is much better too. i just think the gap is too high for 12 psi but i dont wanna adjust it. im apporaching 6 months of having them and meth should be goin on in a month or so...

yea man... gap the new plugs and put them in.. .35 is way to large for 12 psi.. i had my plugs gapped to .32 when i went above 8 psi just to be safe lol
least that way you'll know wats up

Since im gonna drop down to a 2.7in should I gap at .32 as well? As for different tunes I'll keep both on file for when it's time to switch.
Interesting I would like to see how it looks so I can leanr somemore. Is the system you buy from him going to require credits for say or just going to say here you go tune anything you want?
he also mentioned he'd have a "base file" registry that would give you a tune to get the car running with..
I agree with perfectdisguise. Put the new plugs in at .032, run 12psi , and see if blowout is gone/not as bad. If not, you have other issues. Start simple and eliminate possibilities from there. If you wait til the dyno to find out the plugs don't help with blowout, then you just wasted your day on the dyno that could have been productively used for tuning in the meth. Jmo.
but it runs much better now so ill leave it as is. no need to fix somethin thats not broken.
ran a friends 04 cobra today.. its got a 2.7 pulley. exhaust and intake.. put down 420 whp on a mustang dyno..
took me by half a car to a car on 4 runs..
needless to say.. fk my dyno. my car still halls lol.
