*Queue Jaws music*

Build starts in 3 days. Tune scheduled 14 days from now (scheduling conflicts suck). Should be prowling the streets by Halloween!
Specs:
3" Pullied M62
60 lbs/hr injectors
K&N CAI
ZZP Header and DP (catless w/ resonator)
GMPP Performance Cat-Back Exhaust
ZZP S3 H/E
Option B Reservoir, Stock IM setup (no dual pass for now)
LS4 TB
Autometer Sport-Comp Boost, Oil Pressure, and Wideband Gauges
Going for a "factory" look on the build and I hope to get around 250 or 260 whp out of everything. Eventually I'll be adding SS/TC struts, shocks, springs, and sway bar to the mix.

hmm that header looks familiar, you should see almost identical whp to my old setup
but i would ditch that ls4 so fast its not even funny lol

Why's that? Too touchy on the throttle?
Drill bit/tap is to plug the pesky SC MAP sensor hole...

Nice build to the OP. Pretty identical to my setup minus the ls4 tb. Expect mid-high 13's at the track if you are a manual, and you can drive
Just a heads up, I have an 07 auto, and my abs wires prevented me from getting the ls4 tb on. The adapter plate pushed it out too far so the intake wouldn't go on because of the wires. You might not have the problem, but just a little heads up in case.
Pretty sure the ls4 tb is PnP with the 06 2.4, while the lsj tb will require a rewire/different connector? I know the 08 has a different connector than 06-07....

Single pass = stock Intake manifold (i.e. no dual pass)
That's a tough question. Almost all of my parts were bought used from this site's Classified's section. With tune, hardware, and parts, my total probably comes out to about $2500.

CAI: $110 used
LS4 TB: $25 used
M62 w/ 3" pulley: $300 used
IM: $200 used
Injectors: $190 new
Header/DP: $250 used
Catback: $225 used
Custom Tune: $500 new
Option B Bracket: $25 new
ZZP S3 H/E: $200 new
Pulley tensioner set: $60 used
Gauge pillar: $100 used
Gauges: $380 new
Dealer-ordered items: $200 (IM Gasket, coolant surge tank, washer bottle, evap solenoid line, Stage 2 belt, Alternator bolts, IM Mount bolts)
Harware/Auto parts store items: $100 (Bolts, hoses, clamps, spark plugs)\
If you wanted to, you could cut out more than $1000 by just doing the Supercharger without all of the supporting mods (Option B, full exhaust, etc.) and going with a less expensive tune (like Trifecta) and going with used or cheaper gauges (the Autometer wideband is about $100 more expensive than the AEM).
What's nice is that you can also sell a lot of items that you take off your car to the 2.2L guys. Things to be sure not to screw up while taking off: Throttle Body, Intake Manifold, exhaust manifold, Downpipe, Cat-back, and Injectors (maybe?).
I also spent ~$200 on miscellaneous tools that I didn't have already (hex head sockets, drill tap and bit, etc.)
Yeah. Let me see if I can give the rundown of what I paid (overpaid on some things, underpaid on others).

And you mentioned items to sell to the 2.2 guys.... what parts are you talking about? stock parts?
Stock 2.4 parts are upgrades for 2.2 guys that are looking to do mild N/A builds. Obviously, if they're going to do S/C builds, the items we take off of our cars would be of little use to them.

good luck on the build!
