Vibrant Downpipe

Ok, so I have the vibrant header-d/p combo in my car and it seems that the flex area part of the downpipe is laying on the (I'm assuming) sway bar. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it?

Hmm, I checked and everything seemed tight, I'll probably do a second round just to double check. What do you guys think a good solution would be? I was thinking fiber glass wrap around the sway bar..

If I'm not mistaken, you have an automatic. If so, could it be the same problem with different length downpipes experienced when attempting to fit the LSJ downpipe?

Oh wow, there your right, except they had problems with the cat, not the flex pipe but probably the same problem. Aside from dicing up the d/p is there a better way to get it not to rattle? (Kinda like my wrap idea).

I have never looked closely at the FE3 sway bar setup, but is it possible that you could rotate and reposition the sway bar? The FE5 endlinks are shorter than the FE3 (I believe). Would changing endlinks swing the sway bar out of the way a little? (I'm just guessing here.)

I took a look under the car at the sway bar and I don't even know if I could rotate it lol. Its got twist and turns all over it haha.

mill a couple of spacers for the auto transmission mount in the rear. This will rotate the egine forward.

See Rotated Trans Mounts for reference
